 Mission Statement Minimize

We will work together to help in the fight against hunger. We will endeavor to educate the general public to the needs of the hungry. We will strive to increase the awareness and involvement within the motorcycling community to achieve our goals. Through fundraising we will accomplish our goal – helping to end hunger wherever it may be.

Easter BASHket Run 2007
The BASHket Run was a huge success and our Thanks goes out to all who attended! A preliminary count of bikes was 56, The winning dice throw high hand was $75.00 and the low hand was $50.00. We also gave away a $153.50 for the 50/50 drawing. We at BASH would like to say  a"Special" Thanks to Mike Dalgard and the Quick Throttle Magazine, Dutch Phillips, ABATE of Washington, Destination Harley Davidson, SKCC ABATE, EPCC ABATE, Niftys Fiftys on Canyon Rd, Pic n Shovel, Rite Spot, and the many other vendors and people for their contributions to our Runs that Really make a difference in Peoples Lives! Without your support BASH could not serve the 1300 families, close to 3000 people that need a hand up! We got to come out of the winter weather and visit with some old friends and also meet and visit with a lot of new faces. However close to the end of the run the rain rolled in, That didn't stop the good people of the BIKER community of showing their continued support and dedication in helping BASH get the much needed Easter BASHkets to the kids! I'd like to throw a quick welcome in to a few, Jason and Dale of Puyallup, Jeff of Puyallup, and Tony of Puyallup, Welcome and hope to see you on more of the runs!
As most of you know we only have two runs a year, The BASHket Run and the Turkey Run. They have both been very successful serving those two Holidays. For Christmas we do the Pictures with Santa on his Harley at the Caveman Coffee locations. (another huge Thanks to Greg and his merry elfs) If you would like to suggest some other fund raising event that would help BASH accomplish its goal please let me know.
Welcome to all the new BASH members, be watching for your memberships cards in the mail!< read more...

 Hungry Facts Minimize

Twenty-four hours without food, no other problems in your life will matter. The only thing you will be able to think about or focus on, is food.

Two days without food, your hunger pains will increase. You will drink water to get that momentary “full” sensation.

Three days or more, you will become ill (headaches, nausea, fatigue, cold), and after three weeks to three months you will die.

It has been proven that children can’t concentrate at school when hungry.

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
